This attractive site sits behind the Lodge Hotel, a well-known landmark on the Coast Road in Old Hunstanton. Previously the site was used as a holiday park and is accessed via a private road that winds through mature trees. The 20 new houses and flats are arranged around an informal courtyard and reference traditional agricultural barns with simple forms and large two storey openings breaking up the linear elevations. The mature trees have been retained and enhance the setting and help to soften the buildings. Carstone, brick and pantiles are the predominant materials.
