TYPE: New build bedroom wing in the grounds of a listed Georgian house

The Grove is a grade II listed Georgian house in Cromer run as a guest house. The owners engaged A Squared Architects to design new guest accommodation in the grounds of the main house, this took the form of two linked wings providing five new ensuite rooms sited adjacent to an orchard and kitchen garden and separated from the main house by a copse. The buildings are designed to sit sympathetically in the grounds of the listed building, built with a traditional pegged oak and douglas fir frame the buildings are finished with douglas fir boarding, clay pantiles and iroko joinery.
